Worksite Labs launches second patient service center Guam Medical Plaza

Months after opening its first location, Worksite Labs, a premier diagnostic laboratory company, opened its second patient service center (PSC) in Guam at the Guam Medical Plaza in Tamuning. The new PSC is located at the main entrance of GMP immediately to the right, making it convenient for customers in the central part of the island to have access to more testing services.

Gary Frazier, Founder and CEO of Worksite Labs, announced, “We are thrilled to announce the opening of our second PSC at the Guam Medical Plaza in Tamuning, situated in the heart of the island.

This expansion allows us to connect even more closely with our valued customers in Guam, offering enhanced healthcare diagnostics and cutting-edge technology.

By extending our presence and services, we aim to bring added convenience and choice to the residents of the central region. At Worksite Labs, we take great pride in delivering our services with warmth and a friendly approach at our patient service centers."

The company’s unique and innovative decentralized laboratory model and advanced diagnostic testing capabilities deliver fast, reliable results by placing full-service labs where they’re needed most and throughout the community.

Worksite Labs launched its operations in Guam on June 12, 2023, with the opening of its patient service center at the Dededo Pay-Less Supermarket.

Worksite Labs also supported Typhoon Mawar recovery by providing medical testing services in the community at pop-up sites at mayors’ offices throughout the month of June and in partnership with the Todu Guam Foundation.

“We give our customers access to important healthcare services in the communities where they live, work, and play. Customers can walk into either of our PSCs at Guam Medical Plaza or Dededo Pay-Less with any doctors’ orders or plan ahead by making their appointments online. When they arrive, they will be met by our professional and warm team of technicians who understand their needs,” Frazier added. “Our customers rely on us because we deliver quick, affordable, and trusted diagnostic testing so they can make decisions about their well-being.”

The company has plans to open its next PSC at the Yigo Pay-Less Supermarket in a few months and eventually more locations islandwide to better serve the island’s residents. Its main lab is located at Guam Regional Medical City. Worksite Labs operates in 23 major cities, seven states, and Guam.

Worksite Labs expanded to Guam as an opportunity to provide better access directly to where those diagnostic services are needed. The company’s model will bring the speed and agility of a localized lab and the technology and service of a national laboratory network to Guam.

Worksite Labs is offering a curated list of testing, which can be found on its website at guam.worksitelabs.com.

Worksite Labs is in-network with all local insurance plans on Guam including Calvo’s SelectCare, TakeCare, NetCare, StayWell, Medicare, Medicaid, MIP (Medically Indigent Program), and soon TRICARE. Customers can make an appointment online at guam.worksitelabs.com or are welcome to walk into the Patient Service Centers at Guam Medical Plaza or Dededo Pay-Less. A doctor’s requisition form is required for testing.
