Letter to the editor: An open message to Guam voters

You've heard this before from Guam voters: "I will not vote in this election. What for? Nothing ever changes."

If thousands or hundreds of voters adopt this mentality and don't exercise their right to vote, then yes, nothing will change. The incumbents who have their supporters will vote. The end result is the same old names getting reelected.

I ask you the voters to get out and allow your vote to be your voice. Skipping elections only retains the status quo. So yes, nothing changes.

The future of Guam and quality of life depend on you getting out and voting.

On Nov. 8, be heard.
