Paws in the Park enters year 4
Guahan Paws for Pets will host its fourth annual “Paws in the Park” event on March 14 at the Skinner Plaza in Hagatna from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The St. Patrick's Day-themed fundraiser, which is open to the public, also serves as an opportunity for those seeking to adopt pets to pick their new furry family member.
All proceeds from the event go directly to the ongoing care of rescues.
Guahan Paws seeks to drastically reduce the overpopulation of homeless animals by spaying, neutering, rescuing, rehabilitating, vetting and rehoming.
The group also provides education and outreach to find workable solutions to assist the community with proper animal care, so we can all coexist peacefully and sustainably.
"We will have numerous local vendors, food trucks, services, and of course lots of animals hoping to find their forever homes," Guahan Paws said. "This is a pet-friendly event, so we encourage everyone to bring their fur babies."
