Broadway musical takes the stage at UOG Calvo Field House

World Theater Productions and the Guam Philharmonic Foundation, Incorporated are excited to present the Guam premiere of Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical from September 4–6, 2026, at the University of Guam Calvo Field House in Mangilao.

For the first time in forever, the magic of Arendelle is coming to Guam. This spectacular production brings the world-renowned musical phenomenon to our island, featuring the Academy Award-winning songs by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez alongside new music written exclusively for the stage.

The story follows Princesses Anna and Elsa in the kingdom of Arendelle. When Queen Elsa’s hidden powers trigger an eternal winter, Anna embarks on an epic journey to bring her sister home, joined by Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf. Frozen is a powerful tale of sisterhood, acceptance, and the true meaning of love.

SNIP brings 10th spay & neuter clinic to Sinajåña

The Guam Department of Agriculture's Division of Animal Health, in partnership with GAIN’s Spay & Neuter Island Pets program, is hosting its 10th clinic at the Sinajåña Mayor’s Office, which began on Aug. 11 and will continue until Aug. 20.

While Sinajåña and neighboring Agaña Heights are the focus villages for this event, the clinic is open to residents islandwide. Sinajåña’s central location makes it convenient whether you’re coming from the north or the south.

The SNIP program is taking a deliberate, area-by-area approach, with Sinajåña and Agaña Heights as the first target area. Rather than spreading limited surgical capacity thin across the island, the goal is to fully stabilize each target area before moving to the next.

Leading the surgical team are territorial veterinarian Dr. Mariana Turner and GAIN staff veterinarian Dr. Brenda Smith.

Since launching on Feb. 14, 2022, the SNIP program has completed over 11,153 sterilizations — a milestone made possible by the veterinarians, volunteers, and pet owners who show up because they believe Guam’s animals deserve better.

Surgeries are offered by appointment for $50 and appointments are limited. Financial assistance is available, and residents receiving SNAP benefits qualify for the SNIP-SNAP sponsorship, which covers the full cost of surgery.
