Two confirmed Covid positive out of 141 tests

The most recent Covid-19 tests indicate that community transmission on Guam may be further slowing down , with two positive cases out of 141 tests performed Dec. 24. It was by far the lowest number of positive since August.

The burden on Guam's health case system has eased as well, with 17 hospital admissions as of Dec. 24.

To date, there have been a total of 7,268 officially reported cases of Covid-19 with 121 deaths, 404 cases in active isolation and 6,743 not in active isolation.

The Covid Area Risk score is 1.3.

A total of 2,158 health care personnel and residents of nursing homes have been vaccinated.
