Pay-Less Supermarkets in Sinajana reopens its doors today after a four-month pause in operations for renovation.
Established in 1967, the Sinajana location is the oldest among the seven PayLess stores throughout Guam.
The newly refreshed Sinajana Pay-Less blends modern convenience with island warmth, featuring bright, open spaces, natural textures, and design elements that honor Sinajana’s agricultural roots.
The renovation transforms the historic store into an updated neighborhood market designed to gather, nourish, and connect the community it serves.
“Pay-Less has always been committed to serving the people of Guam, and our Sinajana store renovation reaffirms that commitment,” said Kathy Calvo, president and CEO at Pay-Less Supermarkets. “This transformation allows us to offer our customers a fresh, convenient, and modern shopping experience while preserving the cultural character that makes Sinajana special.”
The official grand re-opening celebration is set for Dec. 6, beginning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from 11 a.m. to noon.
from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The renovated Sinajana Pay-Less features expanded departments designed to better serve customers, including a 25 percent larger produce section, a significantly enlarged meat and seafood department with a 30 percent increase, and the store’s biggest expansion—a 75 percent increase in Freeze & Chill/Dairy—along with additional departmental upgrades.
