ArtSpace Guahan will cut the ribbon for “Pacific Perspectives: A Celebration of Art & Culture” at the Guam Museum, featuring more than 50 local artists and creatives from across Guam and the Pacific.

“Pacific Perspectives,” which starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m., will showcase a vibrant cross-section of Guam’s art community, bringing together renowned masters, established professionals, and emerging voices in one inspiring space.

Featured artists include Mark Dell’Isola, Ric Castro, Judy Flores, Dawn Lees Reyes, Mark Murer, Austin Domingo, Drew Ippolitia, Jerrold Castro, Joshua Barrigada, Ed “Lerk” Gaza, Geraldine Datuin, Joleen Unas, Julia Birn, Merc Tenorio, Irena Keckes, Leila Rehmani, Vic Consaga, Luke Scott Fernandez, Federico Munar and Mar-Vic Cagurangan, among many others.

This milestone event marks a new chapter for Artspace Guåhan, a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to making art accessible and supporting Guam’s creative community through space, programs, and opportunity.

With this exhibit, we’re laying the foundation for a permanent art hub, a home where artists and the community can come together to create, collaborate, and thrive.

The exhibit also serves as the lead-in to Art Bash 2025, Artspace Guåhan’s signature annual fundraiser set for Oct. 25  at the Guam Museum.

On the same day, the Philippine Consulate General on Guam, in partnership with Council on the Arts and Humanities Agency and the Filipino Community of Guam, will open “Gunita ng Kasaysayan, Kulay ng Kasalukuyan” (Memories of the Past, Colors of the Present) at 6 p.m. at the CAHA Gallery in DNA Building.

The show features a collection of work by internationally acclaimed artist Nemesio Miranda, known as Nemiranda, and painter-sculptor Don Nemesio Miranda III.

The event celebrates the Museums and Galleries Month and National Arts and Humanities Month, observed in the Philippines and the U.S., respectively.
