Holiday season kicks off a Hyatt

For the ninth consecutive year, Hyatt Regency® Guam will be home to a life-size Gingerbread House this Holiday season. To celebrate this annual tradition, the Gingerbread Housewarming event will take place on Dec. 3, where the hotel will turn the key and open the holiday display.

Guests are welcome to arrive as early as 4:30 p.m. to decorate the gingerbread house with heart-shaped cookies and participate in a range of Holiday activities.

Also new to the festivities this year is an Ornaments Exchange. For a small donation, guests can bring a pre-loved ornament in good condition and exchange it with another hanging on designated Christmas trees made from repurposed wood. All proceeds from the heart-shaped cookies and the Ornaments Exchange will benefit Make-A-Wish® Guam and CNMI.

The official ceremony commences at 6 p.m. where guests will experience the lighting of Hyatt’s 30-foot Christmas tree and see the Holiday Gingerbread House open.

The evening will also include entertainment, Camp Hyatt® corner with kids’ activities and crafts, a small Holiday market with local vendors as well as an appearance by Santa Claus!

As an added bonus, all hotel restaurants will be offering 20 percent off on the night of the event. The Gingerbread Housewarming event is open to all ages and admission is free. The holiday display at Hyatt Regency® Guam will be open to the public until Jan. 7, 2020.
