Never mind the just-issued flash flooding warning for Guam, concern about a potential tsunami from a Fiji earthquake and flat out pouring rain at the Hagatna rally site, Guam Democrats from one of the four competing gubernatorial camps turned out in quantity Sunday following islandwide motorcades through the murky weather. The holy grail is a victory in the August 25th primary next weekend.
The damp rally in support of the gubernatorial ticket of Lou Leon Guerrero and Josh Tenorio revealed some party alignments between the top of the ticket candidates. Speakers on hand included more than half of the Democratic legislative candidates who will compete for slots on the general election ballot.
