Rodman now wants to pit Guam v. North Korea in B-ball

In his travels around Asia, retired basketball star and wannabe peacemaker/Secretary of State Dennis Rodman has been making news for nearly a week, stopping on Guam for a couple of days last weekend. During an interview in Beijing, Rodman dropped his latest plan to calm tensions between Washington and Pyongyang by pitting North Korea against Guam on the basketball court.

According to a story in the L.A. Times, "Guam's national basketball team's head coach, E.J. Calvo, said in an email that 'this possible game would be a great opportunity.'"

According to the Times story, Rodman said, "The people in Guam are all about it. They love it. You get a team from North Korea, get these guys from Pyongyang. Play it in Beijing."

The Times noted that North Korea's soccer team recently played Japan, South Korea, and China as part of the East Asian Cup tournament.
