2018 Micro Games Flame Altar
Colonia, Yap-- Online registration for all athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers for the 2018 Micro Games will close on June 15. Each of the ten entities is responsible for registering their participants in advance to ensure their accreditation upon arrival at the Micro Games that will take place July 15 – 27 in Yap.
The FSM National Olympic Committee is supporting the Yap Organizing Committee by assisting with this registration through their financial support of the $5,000 cost of the Australian-based website used for the registration.
To assist all of the FSM States with properly registering their teams, including athletes who reside outside each of the states, but will be competing on the teams, the FSMNOC is also sending Lestly Ashby Mendiola to Kosrae, Chuuk and Yap to help take photos of the teams, coaches and officials and to provide assistance with the online registration process. Jim Tobin, FSMNOC Secretary General, asks that the Chef de Missions in those states select someone with IT and photo skills to work with Mendiola during her stay. The June 15 deadline will be adhered to and the online registration will be closed on that date.
