PBS Guam, KGTF, Channel 12 announced the release of its PBS Video mobile application which has launched in both Guam and the CNMI. This application is the first of its kind for Guam and the Northern Marianas Islands and allows viewers to watch the live
PBS Guam broadcast from anywhere.
PBS Video is available for free download on the Apple App store and the Google Play store. Users will be able to watch entertaining and educational PBS Guam television programs live, as we would on television. When using the application for the first time, a pop-up will
show that the application has been localized to the PBS Guam station. Users are advised to keep this setting by clicking on the “Dismiss” response button.
Watch all your favorite PBS programs like Clifford the Big Red Dog, Dinosaur Train, PBS News Hour and more live. Previous episodes are also available to watch; in case you couldn’t catch it live. When registered within the application you can create your own playlists, mark your favorites, and receive notifications on upcoming broadcasts. Want to see what’s coming up? The PBS Guam broadcast schedule is also available to view in the application.
“Through the support of The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, PBS Guam as been afforded this wonderful opportunity to allow our Guam residents and our sister island residents in the Northern Marianas Islands access to free educational and informative programs.”, said Ina C. Carillo, general manager of PBS Guam KGTF Channel 12. “I have been in contact with several residents of Saipan and Rota and have received their confirmation that the applications are indeed working properly in these areas.”
Also available for download on both operating systems, PBS KIDS Video mobile application. This application features all of PBS’s distinguished children’s programs that allow children and their parents to watch PBS Guam KGTF live 24-7 children’s programming. In this application, children can also select episodes of their favorite PBS Kids shows like Curious George, Clifford the Big Red Dog, The Cat in the Hat, Super Why, and Sesame Street.
