I am writing to express my concern about the ongoing issue of corrupt leadership and poor governance in Tonga.

Many leaders continue to misuse public funds and neglect their responsibilities, while ordinary citizens suffer from a lack of basic services, such as health care, education and clean water.

This behavior undermines trust in our institutions and weakens our democracy. We need leaders who are transparent, accountable, and committed to serving the people—not themselves.

I urge our government to strengthen anti-corruption laws and ensure that those in power are held responsible for their actions. Tonga deserves better.
