Guam's latest Covid tests yield only 1 positive result

The Department of Public Health and Social Services reported a preliminary case count of one new case of Covid-19 from 200 specimens analyzed on Dec. 4.


Additional results are pending analysis and submission from other clinics and will be reported on Monday.


To date, there have been a total of 19,248 officially reported cases, 266 deaths, 280 cases in active isolation, and 18,702 not in active isolation. As of Dec. 3, the CAR Score is 0.7.


As of Dec. 4, a total of 126,277 of Guam’s eligible population (residents 5 years and older) is fully vaccinated. This total includes 12,052 residents 12 – 17 years old. 3,352 residents 5 – 11 years old received their first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech two dose series. 578 residents 5 – 11 years old have completed their two-dose series. 28,938 booster shots have been administered to eligible residents.
