Guam reports 23 new Covid cases out of 606 tests; vaccination rate 77.13%



Twenty-three new cases of Covid-19 were identified out of 606 tests performed July 9 – 11. Twelve cases were identified through contact tracing. One case reported recent travel history and was identified in quarantine.


To date, Guam has had a total of 8,454 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 141 deaths, 101 cases in active isolation, and 8,212 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 1.2.


To date, a total of 92,590 or 77.13 percent of adults have received either both doses in the two-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna), or the single-dose series (Johnson & Johnson/Janssen) of the COVID-19 vaccine.
