Guam archbishop to serve in Vatican's Dicastery for Communication

Archbishop Ryan P. Jimenez will serve in the Vatican’s Dicastery for Communication, joining other church leaders chosen by Pope Leo XIV for digital evangelization.
According to The Holy See's April 9 announcement, Jimenez will join 11 distinguished clergymen and one lay person, including Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, pro-prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, Section for First Evangelization and the New Particular Churches.
The Dicastery for Communication oversees the Vatican’s global communications network, ensuring a unified and effective approach to sharing the Gospel. It responds to the needs of evangelization through digital media, innovation, and emerging forms of communication, according to the Holy See.
Jimenez the other members of the Dicastery for Communication will continue to serve at their regular positions while members of the Dicastery. Archbishop Ryan also serves as the President of the Episcopal Conference of the Pacific.
