Covid cases reported on Rota, Tinian

Saipan-- Fifty-one additional individuals have been confirmed positive for Covid-19, bringing the CNMI total to 3,802 cases since March 28, 2020. The individuals have been isolated and are actively monitored. Of the 51 cases identified, 48 were identified on Jan. 12, (Two on Rota, and two on Tinian), 2 on Jan. 11, and 1 on Jan. 7. Twenty cases identified via contact tracing, 21 via community testing, 10 via travel testing

As of Jan. 13, 2022, there were 9 individuals hospitalized as a result of Covid-19: five unvaccinated, four vaccinated, one on a ventilator and one has been released.
