CNMI logs 189 new Covid-19 cases

Saipan-- The CNMI reported 189 additional cases of Covid-19, bringing the commonwealth's total to 7,199 cases since March 26, 2020. The individuals have been isolated and are actively monitored. Of the 189 cases: 180 were identified on Feb. 10, seven on Feb. 9, and two on Feb. 8; 159 identified via contact tracing, 30 via community testing; eight were identified on Tinian, one on Rota

As of Feb. 11 , there were seven individuals hospitalized as a result of Covid-19: one is on a ventilator

The CNMI government said 99.9 percent of the commonwealth's eligible population are fully vaccinated.
