COLONIA-- The fish are biting so the Yap Fishing Club is hosting another fishing derby on December 9th.
The derby is supported by Vital FSM and there are some fantastic prizes are offered. The categories include a Big Fish competition with prizes in each category such as Yellow Fin, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Skipjack, Barracuda and Trevally. There is also the Most Weight and Most Species categories.
Each boat that enters will receive $100 worth of gas vouchers. Please note, this is a trolling tournament, so no bottom fishing or drop stoning are allowed. The tournament starts with check in on Saturday at 6 a.m. to 7a.m.
Registration is open now until 4.30 p.m. on Friday 1st December. Entrance fee is $50 for non-members and $10 for Yap Fishing Club Members. There are over $1500 of prizes up for grabs so make sure you sign up now.
