2 of 407 test positive for Covid-19; Pfizer vaccine shipment arrives


Two new cases of Covid-19 were identified out of 407 tests performed by DPHSS on Sunday, May 23, and from tests run by other labs between Friday, May 21 through Sunday, May 23. One case reported recent travel history and was identified in quarantine. One case was identified through contact tracing.


To date, there have been a total of 8,136 officially reported cases of Covid-19 with 139 deaths, 70 cases in active isolation, and 7,927 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.4.


On Sunday, May 23, DPHSS received its shipment of Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccines. A total of 23,400 doses were received in good condition as part of Guam’s May allocation.
