Guam voters are headed to the polls today for the general election, with the gubernatorial races at the main event, capping months of sleepy campaigning.

For the gubernatorial race, Guamanians will pick between the Democratic team of Therese Terlaje and her running mate Sabina Perez, and the Republican team of Tony Ada and Edward J. Calvo

Former attorney general Alicia Limtiaco, a Democrat, is challenging the incumbent Republican, James Moylan.

Candidates for the attorney general include the incumbent Douglas Moylan, Phil Tydingco, Thomas Fisher, Jordan Pauluhn and Peter Santos.

The legislative race will decide whether Republicans will retain control of the 39th Guam Legislature.

Guam voters will also elect members of the Education Board and the Consolidated Comission on Utilities.

Guam has 57,411 registered voters and 19 precincts.
