Guam Temps Inc announced the promotion of general manager Jenynne Guzman to president of the company, effective Jan. 19.
Guzman assumes her new role as majority owner of the company alongside founder Maureen Newman, who began the business in 1988.
The company announced that due to strategic considerations, Guam Temps Inc decided to offer Guzman majority ownership, with confidence and extraordinary courage that she will propel the company to new heights.
Guam Temps is a staffing company that assists in connecting businesses and jobseekers. According to its website, Guam Tempts "provides human resources and employment services to local and international private, public and nonprofit organizations on Guam."
Guzman recently obtained her Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus in March 2021. She received her Bachelor's in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Guam in 2010. Guzman also serves as a guardsman for the Guam Army National Guard.

Her HR, marketing, and leadership background have prepared her for this new role as owner of Guam Temps. She is a hard-working and experienced professional driven by opportunity.
