GRMC marks 11 years with health fair
Guam Regional Medical City will celebrate 11 years of serving Guam at its Steel Strong, Heart Driven Health Fair on July 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Micronesia Mall Center Court.
The fun-filled event features free health screenings, interactive educational exhibits, exciting games, prizes and the opportunity to connect with GRMC's physicians and healthcare professionals.

Guests can visit booths hosted by GRMC's specialty teams, including:
Cancer Center
Cardiology
Endocrinology
Gastroenterology
General Surgery
Infectious Disease
Neuroscience
One-Stop Center (Laboratory & Radiology)
Orthopedics
Patient Education
Patient Experience
Podiatry
Pulmonology

Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine
Visitors will also receive free blood pressure and blood glucose screenings, educational resources and wellness information designed to help individuals and families take charge of their health.
Guests will have the chance to win prizes, including a round-trip economy class ticket from Guam to any Philippine Airlines Southeast Asian destination via Manila, courtesy of Goodwind Travel and Philippine Airlines for the grand prize, and a 75” Smart TV for the baby grand prize.

SKÅL Guam awards scholarship to Dusit Beach Resort employee

SKÅL International Guam has awarded its SKÅL Guam Scholarship to Warline Sanchez, a Dusit Club Officer at Dusit Beach Resort Guam and a student pursuing a degree in Tourism and Travel Management at Guam Community College.
The $1,000 scholarship recognizes Sanchez's commitment to professional excellence, continued education, and her potential as one of Guam's future tourism leaders.
"SKÅL believes that investing in education is one of the best ways to strengthen Guam's visitor industry," said Ernie Galito, president of SKÅL International Guam. "Warline has demonstrated a strong commitment to guest service while pursuing higher education, and we are proud to support her professional journey."
Since joining Dusit Beach Resort Guam in March 2025, Sanchez has earned recognition for her professionalism and dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Her pursuit of higher education while building her hospitality career exemplifies the qualities SKÅL seeks to encourage through its scholarship program.
Warline's award is part of SKÅL Guam's expanding commitment to strengthening the island's tourism workforce through education and professional development.
Other scholarship recipients are:
• Asshenti Borja – Commis Chef 2, pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts at Guam Community College. Hilton Guam Resort & Spa
• Jones Nakamura – Front Desk Supervisor, pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Guam. Hotel Nikko Guam
• Maria Javelosa – Front desk associate, to complete the Managing Front Office Operations certificate program at Guam Community College.
• Aaron Guerrero – Front desk associate, to complete the Managing Front Office Operations certificate program at Guam Community College.
Since launching its expanded scholarship initiative, SKÅL Guam has awarded five scholarships to employees representing four of Guam's premier hospitality employers, reinforcing the organization's commitment to developing the island's future tourism leaders through education and professional development.
