Cultivate After Dark: Celebrate culture, community and cannabis
The Homegrown Collective will host Cultivate After Dark, commemorating the group's official recognition as a registered nonprofit organization on Guam.
The event, slated for July 12 starting at 6 p.m. at Hotel Nikko, also marks the successful launch of Cannabis Culture Marianas, the island’s first magazine dedicated to cannabis education, sustainability and holistic wellness in the Marianas.
Headlining the evening is Guam’s own Jason J., a rising star who recently took the stage at NBC’s American Song Contest, representing the island with his signature blend of soulful reggae, island rock and heartfelt lyricism.
The event also features local vendors and Doodle Table, where guests can create art and add stickers to the sticker wall.

Summer Fest at GCC
Guam Community College will host GCC Summer Fest on July 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Mangilao campus.
The event, which is free to the public, features an all-day block party with food and entertainment, Christmas in July bazaar, an open house of all the programs GCC offers, and a concert featuring local homegrown bands.
GCC President Dr. Mary A. Y. Okada said: "Whether you are a future student, a parent, or just want to enjoy a great day out of the house, there is something for everyone at the GCC Summer Fest. This is GCC’s chance to show the community that we are not just about education – we are about building connections, celebrating our island culture, and creating opportunities for everyone."
