Jeju Air to Launch Guam – Kansai Service

Six flights weekly beginning July 21st

The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) is pleased to welcome the inaugural of Jeju Air flight service between Japan’s Kansai International Airport and Guam on July 21, 2018.

“We are happy to announce Jeju Air’s direct flights between Osaka and Guam. This new direct flight service coincides with the beginning of the summer vacation season in Japan, representing an excellent opportunity to welcome more visitors from the Kansai area. This new service also represents an increase of 5,700 direct flight seats per month. With morning departures from Japan and afternoon returns from Guam, the flight schedule makes it possible for visitors to maximize their valuable vacation time. I thank Jeju Air, the A.B. Won Pat Guam International Airport Authority and my GVB team for their hard work to make this additional Japan service possible,” said GVB President and CEO Nathan Denight.

Jeju, a brand of Korea’s largest low cost carrier (LCC), will launch the new service with six round-trip flights per week.

“Jeju Air has been a great partner and has expanded its flight options to Guam significantly since its inception of services in September 2012. The new KIX/GUM route will provide much needed capacity from Kansai with a very convenient schedule. Visitors from the Kansai region will appreciate this new service option by Jeju Air, which sets itself apart with its “Jeju Air Guam Lounge” in the Tumon tourist district, allowing its passengers to feel connected to their airline service provider during their stay on Guam. We congratulate Jeju Air on this new service and truly appreciate their continued commitment to Guam,” stated Charles H. Ada II, Executive Manager of the Guam International Airport.
