Hagatna, Guam (Jan. 16, 2017) — “Pinakbet,” an art exhibition featuring Mar-Vic Cagurangan, Marcial Pontillas and Julius Sotomayor, will open at the CAHA Gallery in Hagatna from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2017.
“Pinakbet” represents the diverse media, individual styles and creative ingredients used by the three featured Guam artists. The show features Mar-Vic’s Guam-inspired art jewelry, Marcial’s installations and assemblages of found objects; and Julius’ urban-inspired acrylic paintings.
