Hospital visiting hours: Guam Regional Medical City will suspend all visiting hours once the island is placed in COR 2. All admitted patients may have one patient watcher per patient.
Patient watchers must obtain an approved emergency patient watcher permit from Customer Relations in the main lobby.
All other visitors shall be asked to leave the hospital. All patient appointments made with GRMC’s Specialty Clinics and Radiology Department (CT Scan, MRI, Mammography, X-ray) for Monday and Tuesday have been cancelled.
All non-emergency and elective surgeries scheduled for Monday and Tuesday have also been cancelled.
Rescheduling of all appointments will take place once Guam has been declared in COR 4. Café City in the main lobby will close at the announcement of COR 2.
Classes. Public and private schools are closed on Monday.

The Guam Community College will be closed. Students and employees of the college are urged to prepare their residences for damaging winds and to please stay safe. Banking: Bank of Guam announces that all of its Guam and Rota branches will be closed on Monday COR 4 is restored and conditions are safe.
For the safety of our community, all exposed Bank of Guam ATMs will be off-line beginning tonight (Sunday). They will be brought back online when COR 4 is announced and conditions are safe. Indoor ATMS (such as those located inside gas stations and supermarkets) are not affected.
Merchant services (card processing machines) are also not affected. Customer Contact Center (671) 472-5300 remains available until midnight tonight (Sunday), and our Bank of Guam mobile banking app and telephone banking services will continue until COR 1 is announced.
Coast360 ATMs that are outdoors and exposed to weather conditions, such as the Maite drive thru, Dededo and Tamuning. All others will remain online.
Court: The District Court of Guam will be closed for business until further notice in preparation for and in anticipation of Tropical Storm Mangkhut. All hearings, jury trials, and jury selection proceedings are postponed until further notice. Jurors need not appear at the courthouse until further notice. Any filings due will be considered timely filed if they are faxed to the Office of the Clerk at 969-4488, and the original filed with the court the next regular business day.
The Judiciary of Guam today announced that at the direction of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Administrator of the Courts has ordered the closure of the Guam Judicial Center and the Northern Court Satellite. All Judiciary employees are directed to prepare for the impending storm and monitor all court management and public communication channels on when to return to duty in Hagatna and Dededo.
Due to the closure of the Judiciary in anticipation of typhoon conditions, all hearings, jury trials, and jury selection proceedings will be rescheduled. Magistrate Hearings will be held at the earliest opportunity following the declaration of Condition of Readiness 4 (COR4)- All Clear by the Governor of Guam.
Jurors do not have to appear at the courthouse on Monday but should check the jury recording system after 5:00pm after the All Clear is declared for Guam for their next jury instructions. Any court filings due while the court is closed, shall be deemed timely filed if filed when the court opens for regular business. Also, the Guam Law Library and the Judicial Education Center are closed and will re-open for normal operations at the direction of the Chief Justice. Additionally, Monday’s scheduled 2018 Constitution Week Proclamation Signing Ceremony and Tuesday’s performance of the Guam Territorial Band at the Guam Judicial Center has been postponed and will be rescheduled.
Pregnant moms at GMH and Naval Hospital, Senior Citizen Meals Guam Memorial Hospital will be prepared to receive pregnant mothers at 7 p.m. GMH will provide storm shelter for pregnant mothers who are at least 38 weeks pregnant and all high-risk pregnant mothers who are six months or more in their pregnancy. Mothers are asked to please check with their healthcare providers for guidance if they are unsure if they have a high-risk pregnancy. Please check in at the Patient Registration Dept. on the 1stfloor. Expectant mothers will remain at the hospital for the duration of the storm until it is determined safe for them to return to their homes. All expectant mothers are asked to enjoy a complete meal before they check into the hospital. Sleepers, pillows and blankets will be provided to the pregnant mothers. All pregnant mothers who need to come to GMH are asked to bring the following for their comfort and convenience:
ID and insurance cards
Drinking water & Snacks that do not need refrigeration or heating
Any needed medications
Personal toiletries (soap, toothbrush, lotions, etc.)
Change of clothing
Entertainment i.e. games, cards, movies, headphones, books, etc. to help pass time
For hospital safety, please follow these RESTRICTIONS:
No personal pillows and blankets
No escorts, support persons, children or pets will be allowed to accompany the pregnant mothers.
No smoking, weapons and illegal drugs are permitted.
Also, outpatient elective surgeries, regular visiting hours and family viewings are suspended upon the declaration of COR 2 and will resume upon the declaration of COR 4. Public health, division of senior citizens The Department of Public Health and Social Services, Division of Senior Citizens, continued home-Delivered Meals today, along with three days of dry goods for Monday, Tuesday, an Wednesday. Naval Hospital Guam At Condition of Readiness 2, at 7 p.m. today, pregnant women being seen at U.S. Naval Hospital Guam who are 38 weeks or more, or are 36 weeks of high-risk (with complications) will be called by the hospital staff if they wish to ride out the storm at USNH Guam. Once in COR2, outpatient visits will be cancelled. At Condition of Readiness 1 outpatient services will be closed, but the emergency department will remain open.
