Pay-Less Markets on Monday announced the opening of a new SuperDrug outlet located inside Kmart in Upper Tumon.

SuperDrug took the place of Kmart Pharmacy, which shut down last month.

“Pay-less Markets, Inc. is excited to expand through its Upper Tumon location inside Kmart. We continue to provide consumers easy access to a pharmacy as they visit the popular shopping destination. We are excited to offer this service, making ourselves more available to our customers,” said Mike Benito, Pay-less executive vice president and general manager. With the expansion of the SuperDrug pharmacy locations, the networking capability of prescriptions will increase with the six locations: Dededo, IHP MedicalGroup Clinic, Oka, Upper Tumon, Yigo and Maite.

According to Pay-Less, the new location will fulfill prescriptions, and online refills are also available at www.paylessmarkets.com.

The pharmacy accepts all local insurance plans. In the near future, this location will be able to accept Medicare Part-D and Medicaid/MIP.

Upper Tumon SuperDrug will be supervised by Danica Laborte as Pharmacist in Charge together with their Pharmacy Technicians: DarleneKaye Nogoy, Melanie Mendiola, Pablo Ballesteros Jr. “Jhun”, DanicaLaborte, Tracy Grace Velayo, Kristine Macasaquit, and Jason Melvin Dalmacio.

“We are excited to open the doors to our new SuperDrug location. With this expansion, we will continue to provide the helpful, knowledgeable and friendly service that is exhibited in all our SuperDrug locations,” said Paul Dalmacio, pharmacy manager.
