Pacific island artists, crafters and cultural performers will gather on Guam on Saturday for I’netnon Man Taotao Micronesia (Gathering of People from Micronesia), one of the Guam Visitors Bureau's signature events.
The cultural gathering, presented by the Guam Micronesia Island Fair, celebrates the customs, traditions, food and art of the islands. The free event will start from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
At the celebration, visitors have the opportunity to experience the vibrant and diverse cultures of Micronesia and will also feature the special attractions that make Southern Guam unique.
You can watch traditional dance performances, taste local delicacies, participate in fun-filled family activities, and purchase handmade crafts from the artists themselves.
The event is sponsored by the Guam Visitors Bureau in coordination with the Valley of the Latte Adventure Park, Jeff’s Pirates Cove and the Country Club of the Pacific.
At the Valley of the Latte, enjoy riverboat tours, cultural performances, local artisans/vendors, food, and non-alcoholic beverages from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
At Jeff’s Pirates Cove, grab breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. then keep the festivities going with great food, refreshing drinks and a beach volleyball competition from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
At Country Club of the Pacific, participate in an opening tee-off and Sling Stone throwing competition from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
