Sixty-six affordable housing units are now available to low-income families in Dededo following the completion of the third phase of CoreTech Development Corp.’s Summer Town Estates project.
Administration officials cut the ribbon on Wednesday, marking the completion of the Summer Town Estates III, which offers three- and four-bedroom units with energy-efficient appliances and features, and compound surveillance.

Amenities include on-site shopping mart/commercial building, state-of-the-art exercise facility/swimming pool and a community center with meeting and function rooms.
The ribbon-cutting also coincided with the groundbreaking on Summer Town Estates IV, commencing the construction of 64 one- to three- bedroom units, with the same amenities available at SummerTown III.
The Summer Town Estates on Lada Avenue is an ongoing project that is expected to be finished by December 2019. The first phase which was completed in 2015, was designed as a community homes for senior citizens. The last two phases involve the renovation of a total 159 units for multi-family dwelling.
The completion of Summer Town III brought to 399 the total number of housing units within the Lada neighborhood.
“In addition, both projects will include partnerships with community organizations such as Flame Tree Freedom Center, Mañelu (formerly Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guam), and Micronesian Resource Center One-Stop Shop for the benefit of its residents,” states a press release from Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority.
