The Guam Young Professionals, a committee of the Guam Chamber of Commerce, has announced that the group is now accepting nominations from among its membership for the Reina A. Leddy Guam Young Professional of the Year Award.
Criteria set forth for the GYP of the Year include:
Nominee must be a GYP member (21 to 40 Years of Age);
An individual must be nominated by an employer or person known to them. An official nomination form must also be completed and submitted to the Guam Chamber of Commerce by December 16th, 2016; and,
Nominee must be in good standing with the GYP and the Guam Chamber of Commerce and cannot hold an official position within the Executive Committee of the Guam Young Professionals. The Executive Committee includes the following offices: Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary Treasurer and Sub-Committee Chairs.
A selection committee made of up members of the Guam Chamber of Commerce will review nominations and make a final selection. An official nomination form can be downloaded from the Chamber's website: www.GuamChamber.com.gu.
This special award will be recognized at the GYP's 7th Annual Event of the Year, themed: Glamsino Royale, on Friday, January 20, 2017, in the Ocean Sirena Ballroom I, The Sheraton Laguna Guam Resort.
The committee is made up of career minded individuals between the ages of 21 and 40. The Deadline for nominations is 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2016.
