The latest Guam election poll results show incumbent Democrat Senator Frank Aguon maintaining his lead in the senatorial race, followed by Sen. Michael F.Q. San Nicolas, and Therese Terlaje. Meanwhile, the result of the presidential straw poll show Democrat Hillary Clinton leading over Republican Donald Trump and Socialist candidate Emidio Soltysik. While the island's presidential votes do not count, Guam has historically predicted the outcome of prior elections.
